It was a great night in NY last night as the Yankees won their 27th title against the Phillies in the 6th game of the World Series. Hideki Matsui’s batting skills not only secured the Yankees win but also entitled him to be the MVP with 3 homers and 6 RBI’s. Congratulations! Can’t wait for the parade. Who’s your Daddy?

“Explanation: Our Sun may look like all soft and fluffy, but it’s not. Our Sun is an extremely large ball of bubbling hot gas, mostly hydrogen gas. The above picture of our Sun was taken last month in a specific red color of light emitted by hydrogen gas called Hydrogen-alpha and then color inverted to appear blue. In this light, details of the Sun’s chromosphere are particularly visible, highlighting numerous thin tubes of magnetically-confined hot gas known as spicules rising from the Sun like bristles from a shag carpet. Our Sun glows because it is hot, but it is not on fire. Fire is the rapid acquisition of oxygen, and there is very little oxygen on the Sun. The energy source of our Sun is the nuclear fusion of hydrogen into helium deep within its core. No sunspots or large active regions were visible on the Sun this day, although some solar prominences are visible around the edges.”

Baby and Me Wii

I find these kinds of toys/games to be utterly scary. I just don’t like human-like dolls. However, they are popular and very marketable which is why it’s no surprise the Nintendo has jumped on the bandwagon. Arriving on November 10, the doll alerts its guardian to come take care of them through the Wii-mote (which inside the baby) speaker by crying, giggling or burping. Oh the joys of simulated parenthood.

“90 Degrees” addresses the ever growing issue of too many vehicles in cities and not enough parking spaces to hold them. This vertical parking system allows up to 3 cars to be parked in one spot by placing them at a 90 degree angle. Bueno also makes the city a nicer and safer place to live by using green energy via solar panels to fuel the vehicles while parked.

USA BEATS SPAIN!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! Huge upset! Amazing! Confederations Cup here we come! The game was great to watch, and completely eventful. It seemed lie Spain was about to equalize and take it away at any moment but USA held their ground and conquered in the end. Both teams played very well, but USA came out on top. Hopefully they’ll continue play at this level. Sunday @ 14:30 EST…tune in to watch the Final against Brazil or South Africa on ESPN.
